Big Things Are Happening at IBA

IBA is in the midst of a BIG transformation. We are expanding in our current location to more than 24,000 sq ft. SAVE A DATE for us in October, soon we will be sending out a notice inviting everyone to an open house to view our new facility.

Elite Program and College Prep Program are filling up. Check out information under “Programs” tab or call 317-334-1638. Registration can be found on same page.

Sports Performance is growing with the Indiana Sports Lab Sports Performance programming conducting Football clinics and programs geared toward athletes and their individual sports. The Soccer program has really taken off.

FIELD RENTAL: Check out the information under the “Facilities” tab. We will now have 2 fields as well as additional tunnels, pitching area, sports performance area, sprint training, etc....

Storm Dates: Pre-registration ends Aug. 11th. Try outs will be held on Aug. 14th at Zionsville Middle School. 11 U’s try outs will be held from 9-11a.m. 12 U’s try outs will be held from 11-1p.m. 13 U’s try outs will be held from 1-3p.m.
Fall Ball: Pre registration ends Sept. 12th and will begin the following week on Sept. 19th. Fall ball is offered to kids between the ages 10-12. Fee is $150.00 with Instructional Ball on Sundays lasting for seven weeks.
Elite Program: Pre registration ends Sept. 30th with a 5% discount for those who register prior to the deadline. The elite program will begin on Nov. 1st. This program is offered to freshman and below. There will be two groups consisting of 7-9th graders and the other group 4-6th grade.

Matt Miller Hits the Big League

Congratulations to Matt Miller a former Zionsville High School player who is going pro. For the last three years he has pitched for the University of Michigan. He was picked up by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 5th round. He is a 6’6” right-hander who throws in the low 90’s. On Sunday June 21st he reported to the Brewers rookie team in Helena, Montana. In his off season he has spent time training at Indiana Baseball Academy. Miller’s statistics are almost identical to Tom Mastny, also a 6’6” right-hander from Zionsville. Some say Miller may be best suited as a relief pitcher, just like Mastny. Mastny who also trains at IBA when in Indiana became a national name when he earned a win in Game 2 of the 2007 American League Championship Series. In order, he struck out David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell. If all holds true, and he is walking in Mastny footsteps, it looks like he will have big highlights coming his way. WAY TO GO MATT!!!!!!!!

Summer Vacation Baseball Clinic
Why have the kids stay at home and be bored over summer vacation, when they could be playing ball! During our summer baseball clinics athletes will be exposed to the basic fundamentals, sports performance as well as strength training.

Summer camps will be held Monday thru Thursday 9:30am – 1:30 pm. Athletes will need to bring a sack lunch M.T.W and IBA will provide pizza for them on Thursday. Each athlete will also receive a T-shirt. Cost for summer camp is $180.00 per athlete, $165.00 for members or $150.00 per athlete for multiple weeks, or multiple athletes from the same family.

June 7th – 10th, Baseball 7–10 yrs
June 14th – 17th, Baseball 11–14 yrs
June 21st – 24th, Softball Fundamentals 9-14 yrs

July 5th – 8th, Baseball 11-14 yrs
July 12th – 15th, Softball 9-14 yrs
July 19th – 22nd, Baseball 7-10 yrs
